Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) Delivery Lead to join our team. As the SRE Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our platforms and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with developers, operations, and QA to implement best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes/Cloud infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SRE Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery of SRE projects, ensuring uptime, reliability, and scalability of cloud and on-premise systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define reliability, performance, and security goals.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud and on-prem infrastructure using DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and containerization.
- Monitoring and Observability: Implement and maintain observability systems for proactive monitoring.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Lead the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Incident Response: Direct incident management and post-mortem processes for rapid issue resolution.
- Automation & Optimization: Drive automation to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure secure infrastructure deployment in line with industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide SRE engineers, providing direction on best practices and career development.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading SRE teams and delivering complex projects.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong background in infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and observability tools.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Terraform Associate, Ansible, Linux
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and technical teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.).
