Senior DevOps TechLead
Cloud Control Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps TechLead to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a leader who can effectively guide the DevOps team while implementing best practices in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment to optimize software development and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the DevOps team to manage and improve infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability across various platforms.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines in both cloud and on-premises environments to automate and streamline deployment processes.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, including configuration, scaling, and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions, utilizing a broad range of cloud services to meet organizational needs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure system security by integrating best-in-class tools and practices into the development lifecycle.
- Design and implement monitoring solutions, dashboards, and alerts to ensure high availability and timely updates on system performance and security issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and improve architecture and engineering practices.
- Mentor and manage team members, setting clear goals and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in a range of DevOps tools and platforms such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Docker, etc.
- Strong experience with container management using Kubernetes, including helm charts and Kubernetes yaml configurations.
- Expert knowledge in various cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) including managed services and serverless architectures.
- In-depth understanding of both Microsoft and Linux environments, including scripting in Bash or PowerShell and administration of related tools.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines tailored for cloud infrastructure.
- Solid experience in creating observability stacks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and the ability to mentor others in best practices and innovative techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications in Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and other DevOps technologies.
- Experience with network engineering and security best practices, including firewall management and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
